We received an award from the International Osteoporosis Foundation in recognition of our daily efforts to raise awareness of osteoporosis treatment, papers, and conference presentations.

We provide specialized osteoporosis treatment in Higashikurume-city, Tokyo in JAPAN. We are actively introducing injectable drugs from Asahi Kasei, Amgen, Astellas, Taisho Pharmaceutical, Teijin, Kaken Pharmaceutical, etc. We are especially creative in explaining osteoporosis to patients. We explain the outcomes of not treating osteoporosis and the outcomes of treating osteoporosis, that it is a scary disease, and that they may become bedridden or need nursing care. Asahi Kasei’s patient support (Re-Bone Club) is done by phone or email to remind people on the day of self-injection. Our phone registry is number one in the country. To improve treatment motivation for osteoporosis,  one-hour study session for patients is held in the waiting room of the outpatient clinic on a regular basis. It is difficult for small hospitals and clinics to provide liaison services (OLS) that require the participation of all other professions and cost money. We believe that it is more important for increasing the rate of patients who continue treatment for osteoporosis to have one doctor who provides detailed explanations  and one doctor who responds to inquiries from patients. We would like to aim for osteoporosis treatment in which drugs are delivered to patients and their families, pharmaceutical companies, and medical professionals are all happy. Osteoporosis treatment is a treatment that makes patients happy with tears. We would like to carefully support patients in selecting drugs and continuing treatment while seeing their joy in their eyes.
